why yoga?

 “Body is the bow, asana is the arrow, and the soul is the target..” - B.K.S. Iyengar

There’s nothing like yoga. Honestly!

In our fast-moving times, taking the time to practice yoga is a valuable investment in our health and happiness. Practicing yoga can help us become more present and improve our physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Yoga allows me to slow down and connect with myself. It’s a precious practice that helps me to focus on what’s important for me - and not to drown in this never ending flow of opinions, informations and news. It’s my source of relaxation, rejuvenation and well-being.

And I’d love to share it with you!

You can benefit from yoga, too! Yoga really is for everybody, doesn’t matter the fitness level, age, body type, flexibility or strength. Don’t be fooled by the popular image of yoga - it’s so much more than acrobatic poses performed by young and beautiful bodies:)

When you start to practice yoga on a regular level, you’ll realise the following:

  • you’ll get rid of tension in your muscles, you’ll get stronger, more flexible and more in sync with your body,

  • which will make you feel good in your own body,

  • which in turn will make you feel better overall;

  • also, you’ll learn how to relax

  • and you’ll have more energy.

You’ll feel the difference already after the first session with me! Give it a try!

You need more reasons why practicing yoga can be beneficial in our fast-moving time? Here we go:

  1. Reduces stress: Yoga can help reduce stress and anxiety by promoting relaxation and reducing tension in the body. Through breathwork, meditation, and yoga postures, the practice can help you cultivate a sense of calm and inner peace.

  2. Improves physical health: In addition to promoting relaxation, yoga can also improve physical health. The practice can increase flexibility, strength, and balance, and improve cardiovascular health.

  3. Enhances mental clarity: Yoga can help improve mental clarity and focus by calming the mind and reducing distractions. This can lead to increased productivity and creativity.

  4. Increases self-awareness: Through the practice of yoga, you can become more in tune with your body, mind, and emotions. This can help you identify and address areas of tension or imbalance in your life.

  5. Cultivates mindfulness: Yoga encourages mindfulness, which involves being present and fully engaged in the moment. This can help you appreciate the small things in life and develop a greater sense of gratitude.
